A Twitter user posted a picture of a narrow waterspout near the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River. Time was estimated from radar.

The wider storm

Deep moisture and a surface ridge axis across southern Florida led to light southwesterly flow with morning showers and thunderstorms. One of these showers developed a waterspout just off the coast of southwest Florida.

Began near Captiva Pass (26.4550, -82.2040).
