A waterspout was reported about 10 miles north of San Clemente Island.
The wider storm
A cold and unstable air mass, associated with an early season storm system, generated thunderstorms over the coastal waters. From one of these thunderstorms, a waterspout was reported between Catalina Island and San Clemente Island.
Began near Santa Monica Basin Buoy (46025) (33.1349, -118.7447).
