A complex weather system moved across the area, with high predictable waters associated. The system would start off as snow before changing over to rain several hours later. Snowfall amounts would fall in a 6 to 12 hour period as the snow levels would rise later in the afternoon. Snowfall reports in inches were: (9.0) NNE of Bingham Springs, (10) WSW of Elgin, (5) South of Joseph, (10) in Minam, and (10) at the Milk Shakes Snotel.
