Heavy snow fell in the South Central Highlands with 14 inches measured at the Howell Canyon SNOTEL and 10 inches at the Oxford Springs SNOTEL.

Wider weather episode

A Pacific storm system moved through eastern Idaho and brought heavy snowfall totals to many mountain SNOTEL sites. The highest amount was 21 inches at White Elephant in the Upper Snake River Highlands.
