The Hernando County Sheriff's Office reported a large tree fell on a house near Brooksville.

Wider weather episode

A pre-frontal trough moved through the Florida peninsula during the afternoon and early evening hours of the 12th generated a squall line that produced damaging thunderstorm wind gusts and small hail. Additionally, a lightning strike from the squall line started a fire at an apartment complex.
