Storm total snowfall included 13 inches at Elk Ridge, 12 inches in Spanish Fork, and 11 inches in Springville and Provo. Utah County reported 75 car accidents, with seven injuries.

Wider weather episode

A large and cold storm system moved through Utah in the beginning of December, bringing heavy snowfall to most of the state. Only the far northern parts of Utah were spared from significant snow accumulation.
