A spotter reported several trees down at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre. A roof was also blown off of an outdoor shelter at the amphitheatre.
Wider weather episode
During the late afternoon and evening hours, the vorticity maximum associated with Erin's remnants served as a catalyst for organized thunderstorm development as it approached and eventually crossed the area.
