Fullerton municipal airport ASOS reported visibilities of a quarter mile between 0425-0518 PST and again between 0621-0930 PST on the 28th.

Los Alamitos U.S. Army Airfield reported visibilities mostly a quarter mile or less between 0644-0930 PST on the 28th.

Wider weather episode

Decreasing marine layer depth resulted in areas of dense fog along the coast, extending inland to the coastal mesas, on the morning of the 28th.
