Park service personnel reported several trees downed by the high wind along the western foothills parkway in the county 2 miles north-northeast of Happy Valley.

Wider weather episode

High non-thunderstorm wind developed over the area. The strongest wind were reported over the higher elevations. The highest wind reached 90 mph at Cove Mountain. Downed trees were the main reports.
