WSO Yakutat measured 13.3 inches storm total on the 19th. Most of the new snowfall was in the morning.

Wider weather episode

A 993 MB gale force triple point low moved into the central Gulf of Alaska on the morning of the 19th forcing warm moist air over cold air at the surface in the Panhandle. This system brought heavy snow to much of SE Alaska including the northern Panhandle, Yakutat, and Hyder.
