The Nehalem River near Foss reached Flood Stage at 720 AM PST on February 17th, 2014. The river crested at 14.5 ft at 900 AM, and dropped below flood level at 200 PM PST.

A series of fronts resulted in a prolonged period of rain for Northwest Oregon, and minor flooding of several of the area's rivers from February 12th through February 17th.
