Event narrative

A male was killed on Cattlebaron Drive in northwest Tarrant County when he lost control of his vehicle on crashed into a tree. Also, a chain-reaction crash at Collins Street and Green Oaks Blvd involved up to 20 cars. Hundreds of car accidents were reported in the county by the local police and several required medical attention. Many school districts closed or started late on Tuesday the 11th.

Wider weather episode

Freezing drizzle resulted in icy road conditions across the DFW Metroplex. Three people in the region died.
