Storm total 6 inches in Petersburg on 2/19 due to heavy showers... 3 inches overnight and 3 inches between 0600 and 0800. At 1730 Trina in Petersburg measured 5 inches since 0600 on 2/19.

Wider weather episode

A complex low pressure system parked over the Panhandle on 2/19. Local cold outflow from the Stikine River caused brief heavy snow showers for the Petersburg area. Storm totals were around 6 inches for a short time then quickly turned to rain by evening.
