Event narrative
A weak low developed and moved just off the southern Panhandle during the early morning of 4/29. It was enough to cause high wind along that part of the coast. Cape Decision measured 50 MPH sustained wind during the evening with gusts as high as 85 MPH. We figure that some areas along Baranof, Kuiu, and Prince of Wales islands were hit.
