A 25 year old male was killed when a tree fell on his vehicle on the 2000 block of Reynolda Road. Also, a 26 year old female passenger sustained non life-threatening injuries.

Significant pressure rises behind a cold front resulted in strong non-convective winds ranging from 40 to 60 mph. The strong winds caused a tree to fall on a car, killing the driver and injuring the passenger.
