A planning mill building was destroyed and the sheet metal roofing from the structure was blown onto two nearby homes.

Wider weather episode

Convection developed for the second day in a row just south of the Ohio River and shifted south into a moderate to highly unstable air mass in place across East Tennessee. The severe results included a nice mix of large hail and wind damage.
