The National Forest Service reported that a human-caused wildfire labeled Star burned 4.87 acres and resulted in no damages.

A surface high was in place across the Southeast, and with upslope flow across north Georgia, a few light showers developed in the afternoon and evening. While no critical fire weather conditions developed, a small wildfire start in central Georgia.
