High winds developed along locations in and near the Front Range Foothills. The strongest winds were more localized and confined to the foothills north of Interstate 70. Carter Lake registered a peak wind gust to 77 mph (67 kts) while Golden Gate Canyon reported a wind gust to 76 mph (66 kts).
