A widespread heavy snowstorm affected much of Oregon and Washington above 2600 ft. In the Blue Mountains of eastern Oregon, accumulations of around one foot were recorded. Tollgate, at an elevation of 5200 ft, recorded 12 inches overnight. Meacham, at 4000 feet, had 12 inches as well. In the John Day Highlands, a location 8 miles northwest of Seneca had 8 inches the morning of the 11th. Condon, in the foothills of the Blue Mountains at 2900 ft, received 6 inches in 12 hours. Another location 18 miles east of Heppner, had 10 inches. In the John Day Basin, Winlock at 3100 ft, recorded 9 inches.
