Gusty northeast winds were reported all the way from the Matanuska River down into lower Cook Inlet. Gusts reached 66 mph at the Wasilla Fire Station and 63 mph at the Augustine Island remote site Friday morning. Wind gusts were less than 60 mph in the afternoon.
