A moderate 985 mb low, crossing the central Aleutians Tuesday morning, was preceded by brisk southerly winds around Dutch Harbor. Gusts of 62 mph were reported at the Captain's Bay site between 5:30 am ADT and 6:00 am ADT and again between 6:30 am ADT and 7:00 am ADT.
