Event narrative

Strong gradient winds caused a 250 foot crane that was being used to construct a roller coaster at the Sahara Casino in Las Vegas to topple over. The crane crushed a fence and landed in a parking lot at the adjacent Wet 'n Wild water park. Damage will push construction of the roller coaster back about a month. The strong winds also knocked out several windows at the Phoenix office building in downtown Las Vegas.
