A low pressure system over the Appalachians on Saturday, March 11th, moved northeast across southern New England on Sunday, March 12th. Snowfall across the region was 3 to 6 inches...with the heaviest snowfall in the Adirondacks. A few reports included: 6 inches in Ellenburg Depot (Clinton county), Edwards (St Lawrence county), and Newcomb (Essex county). In Franklin county, 4 inches fell in Malone and 3 inches in Tupper Lake.
