Wider weather episode

Severe thunderstorms affected a large part of western Oklahoma during the afternoon and evening of the 15th before the storms eventually weakened across central Oklahoma. The most significant damage resulted from baseball size hail which fell in Altus in Jackson County, with an estimated 2.6 million dollars in damage.
