A trough of low pressure moved slowly west across the Tanana Valley during the time period, causing 8 to nearly 14 inches of snow to fall on the Parks Highway from Healy to Denali Park. A-paid/Co-operative observer reports:Healy: 8 inches in the 24 hours ending 8pm on the 23rd. Denali Park: 13.6 inches in the 36 hours ending 9am on the 24th; the first 10.2 inches fell by 4pm on the 23rd.
