USFS NWAC station at Stevens Pass measured 16 inches snow in 12 hours ending 11 pm Mar 2, and 21 inches during warning period.

A Pacific front and the Puget Sound Convergence Zone in its wake produce heavy snow in the North and Central Cascades.
