Hernando County Sheriff's Office reported two trees down at Highpoint Boulevard and Eldorado Avenue, just north of State Road 50. Time was estimated radar.

A ridge of high pressure north of Florida led to moderate easterly gradient flow and a sea breeze convergence along the western half of the Florida peninsula. Scattered thunderstorms developed, producing hail and damaging wind gusts throughout the area.
