A heavy mix of convective and stratiform rainfall produced flooding along the Taylor Highway in the Fortymile country near the Canadian border. The Taylor Highway was cut in a few locations by the rising waters of the Fortymile River and its tributaries as one to three inches of rain ran through the basin. The Taylor Highway is the only road the area, and a group of tourists became stranded at the village of Eagle, which required the tour company to charter an airplane to keep the group on schedule..
