The annual release of a glacial lake encompassed by the Tulsequah Glacier created unusually high flows and minor flooding conditions along the Taku River south of Juneau. The Taku River is used mainly for recreation and tourism during the summer, and there was no known damage to any of the cabins or other structures along its shores.
