Low pressure tracked across northern lower Michigan on the 4th. The system brought a wintry mix of precipitation to eastern upper Michigan. In northwest Chippewa County, snow was the primary type of precipitation, with Paradise picking up 10 inches of the white stuff. Elsewhere, early snow mixed with sleet and freezing, then turned back to snow before ending. Accumulations of 3 to 6 inches of snow were seen in Sault Ste Marie, Rudyard, and Moran, along with appreciable amounts of glaze and sleet.
