A line of thunderstorms moved through Southwest Idaho with wind gusts to 60 mph. Trees and power lines were downed in Ada county and Idaho Power reported that about 10,000 residents were without power for several hours. A 4' diameter tree was uprooted near Amity school in Ada county and 8" diameter trees were blown down in Jerome. A 60mph wind gust was recorded in Twin Falls and trees and power lines were downed near Filer. Lightning also sparked several small grass fires which were quickly contained, however one fire was started near Castleford that continued to burn for several days.
