Temperatures reached 111 degrees at DFW Airport on September 4, which set the all-time record for the month of September. Daily records were set over north Texas during the first 4 days of September. The cooperative stations had September high temperatures ranging from 108 degrees at Emory to 114 degrees at Possum Kingdom lake.
