A period of light freezing precipitation occurred across the Arctic Coast on the 16th. Wainwright..Barrow..Deadhorse..Kuparuk all reported Freezing Drizzle or light Freezing Rain. Accumulations were significant...the highest was reported from an unofficial source at Kuparuk estimating one-half inch had been deposited that morning. Temperatures around freezing with low clouds high in moisture content was the cause of the event
