Event narrative

A slow moving upper level disturbance moving across the area brought a moist air flow...which produced significant snow amounts in parts of the eastern San Juan mountains. Twenty four inches of snow fell at the summit of Wolf Creek Pass in Mineral county...and 12 inches accumulated at Platoro in Conejos county. Ten inches was logged around South Fork in Rio Grande county. Two to 4 inches of snow fell in the rest of the southern mountains of Colorado and in parts of the adjacent plains.
