Heavy Rains in the central Alaska Range during the night of July 10 caused Onemile creek to flood, clogging the bridge on the Richardson highway with rock, mud, and debris, and buried nearly a quarter-mile of roadway under two feet of muck. Onemile Creek is approximately 40 miles south of Big Delta (Delta Junction).
