Heavy Rain over the Fortymile country of the Southeastern Upper Yukon Valley produced high water on creeks flowing under the Taylor highway, which links the city to Tok to the Village of Eagle. Water over the road occurred at places between 35 to mile 49, and at mile 76 Wade Creek overflowed creating a washout of the road occurred, with the State Departement of Transportation able to keep only one lane open at this spot .
