The wider storm
A moderate pressure gradient across western Alaska incresed a bit on the 21st and 22nd as a Low over the Aleutians Islands drifted a little north, while high pressure over Russia Far East also shifted a bit east. This created High Winds at:Zone 9: Gambell AWOS gust 62 mph.Zone 3: Point Hope AWOS gust 60 mph.
