The combination of low pressure moving along the Gulf Coast states and a strong upper level disturbance rounding the base of a deep trof enveloping the eastern half of the nation, resulted in a light glaze of ice for the nothern tier counties of Upstate South Carolina. THe light coat of glaze resulted in slick spots on area roads, with a few accidents.
