A storm system moved from the Ohio Valley Late Wednesday night, December 13th and across New England by the afternoon of Thursday, December 14th. Snowfall across the area early Thursday resulted in generally 3 to 6 inches. A few reports were as follows: 6 inches in Tupper Lake (Franklin county) with 5 inches in the locations of Gouverneur (St Lawrence county), Ellenburg Depot (Clinton county) and Newcomb (Essex county).
