A strong Spring winter storm produced five to six inches of snow at Monument and Rye...seven to nine inches near the communities of Beulah and Rosita...ten inches near Leadville...eleven inches of snow in Westcliffe...twelve inches of snow 7 miles to the east-southeast of Texas Creek and thirteen inches of snow was measured 5 miles to the west of Westcliffe.
