The Stewart County 911 Center reported that several trees were blown down onto State Highway 39 in western Stewart County.
Wider weather episode
A strong shortwave trough moved through the Southeast late on the 7th and early on the 8th, forming a squall line that pushed across central Georgia during the very early morning hours. A weak tornado formed in Troup County, and with a few reports of wind damage, mainly downed trees, as well.
