Ten soldiers at Fort Dix were struck and injured by lightning while they were in the process of taking down a radio antenna at a training area during a thunderstorm. A 24-year-old soldier was seriously injured when lightning struck the antenna and traveled down the rope he was holding. Nine others around him were also rattled by the bolt.
