A wind gust of 41 MPH was recorded at AWOS site KCRH in West Cameron Block 368.

An unusual summertime cold front moved off the gulf coast during the morning of the 16th. A line of showers and thunderstorms produced some waterspouts 40 to 60 miles south of the coast. Strong thunderstorms remained across the gulf coastal waters through the 18th.
