Strong gusty winds associated with a portion of a frontal band moved into the northern portion of the panhandle. The peak wind reported from the wind event was 69 mph at the Juneau Ranger Station, a spotter north of Juneau reported gusts of 58 mph or greater. Another notable wind gust was 92 mph at Eaglecrest.
