A series of fast moving storms brought periods of heavy snow and strong winds to most of Northern Utah. Winds gusted over 80 mph in Tooele on the 2nd, damaging fences and knocking down trees. Some of the heavier snowfall totals for the 5-day period included 57 inches at Powder Mountain, 56 inches at Brighton, 54 inches at Snowbasin, 17 inches in Heber City and 16 inches in Laketown.
