A storm system over the Province of Quebec, coupled with an air flow across the eastern Great Lakes, enhanced the flow of moisture across the St Lawrence Valley and Adirondack regions of northern New York. Light snow fell across these areas with accumulations generally 2 to 5 inches. The greatest amounts were in the mountains.
