A late season winter storm moved northeast from the Tennessee Valley early Wednesday, March 20th passing across southern New England Wednesday night. Snow spread across the area during the morning and became steadier during the afternoon into the early night hours. Accumulations of the wet snow were generally 3 to 6 inches. Heaviest amounts fell in the Adirondacks, with lesser amounts elsewhere in northern New York.
