Flowing water at least six inches deep was reported over Highway 145 between mile markers 84 and 85.
Wider weather episode
The weather pattern was favorable for another strong push of monsoon moisture northward into Colorado in mid September. The resultant thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall which contributed to flash flooding and debris flows across many areas.
