A flash flood came down a drainage through a residence with water topping bridges on the property.

Wider weather episode

The weather pattern was favorable for another strong push of monsoon moisture northward into Colorado in mid September. The resultant thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall which contributed to flash flooding and debris flows across many areas.
