Strong jet stream winds pushed a cold front across the Idaho panhandle on April 14, bringing high wind to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley. The ASOS at the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airport measured sustained winds as high as 41 mph and a peak wind gust to 54 mph.
